FAQS
Q: How long does it take to have my script read?
A: Depends on my workload but I try my best to read and comment on your script within one week of receiving it.
Q: Can you help me get an agent or provide an agent to contact?
A: Not directly. I am a story analyst and screenwriter only. I cannot provide or help you obtain representation. I can only point you in the right direction based on my own experiences, which may or may not get you to the next level.
Q: If you can’t help me get an agent, then why should I use you?
A: My services will provide critical analysis of your screenplay for you to improve the story and your writing. A great screenplay is critical and can be spotted on the first page of the script. To get an agent, you need a great screenplay.
Q: What if I don’t like the changes or suggestions made?
A: Because writing is an art form, many have different opinions about what is good and what is not. I will read your script with the eye of a reader and honesty of a straightforward friend. I have an upfront straightforward attitude, not to offend but to encourage creativity for you, taking a great story and transforming it into a great screenplay.
Q: Are there any refunds?
A: If you have not received my completed analysis of your script within a month of payment accepted, then all the work is free of charge. However, no refunds may be warranted due to my honest opinion and expertise.
Q: Do you edit books?
A: While this is not my specialty, I can provide story analysis ONLY. If interested, email me to discuss.
